💡 If you're routing audio into Volta for streaming, make sure to select a sample rate of 44100 or 48000 inside Settings > Audio > Input > Advanced Settings > Sample Rate.
1. First, you have to enable the live streaming feature for your YouTube account. Go to your YouTube Studio and click Create > Go Live on the top right.
2. Click in the Request button and wait 24 hours for the activation period to end. You may need to verify your account with your phone. If you already did this before, you can jump to the next step.
3. After you verify your account, you can get the stream key. Go again into Youtube Studio and select Create > Go live. You should set the live video to Public.
4. Now, copy the stream key in the Stream Settings tab.
1. Open the Settings, and then go to Stream & Record
2. Choose the Youtube Preset from the dropdown Menu.
3. Paste or enter the URL server and stream key you copied from Youtube into the Stream Key field. Now you can close the Settings window.
4. When you’re ready to stream, just hit the Start Streaming button in the Streaming Panel.
💡 Please note: you may need to confirm your live status on YouTube after starting the broadcast to it if the auto-start feature is not enabled.
1. Please follow this tutorial from Instagram.
💡 You must have Instagram Live Producer to be able to stream to Instagram. Not all accounts currently have access to it. Here's how to check if you have Instagram Live Producer.
💡 There are third party Apps like YellowDuck and Streamon with which you may be able to use in order to stream with Instagram, but it’s not always a reliable option.
1. Open the Settings, and then go to Stream & Record
2. Choose the Instagram Portrait or Landscape Preset from the dropdown Menu.
3. Paste or enter the URL server and stream key you copied from Instagram into the Stream Key field. Now you can close the Settings window.
4. When you’re ready to stream, just hit the Start Streaming button in the Streaming Panel.
💡 TikTok Live is not enabled for every user. To go live on TikTok, you need to have at least 1,000 followers and be over 16 years old.
1. Launch the TikTok app on your phone and select the plus sign at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the LIVE option.
3. Select the PC or console option underneath the GO LIVE button.
4. You’ll see your TikTok stream key and server URL. You’ll need to enter these in Volta later. You can either copy them and paste them to a text file on your phone, then send it to yourself so you can access it on your computer, then paste them into Volta. Or you can simply write them down by hand, then type them into Volta.

2. Choose the TikTok Preset from the dropdown Menu.
3. Paste or enter the URL server and stream key you copied from TikTok into the Stream Key field. Now you can close the Settings window.
4. When you’re ready to stream, just hit the Start Streaming button in the Streaming Panel.
You can stream to any platform that uses a Stream Key. Here’s how to do it:
1. Search for your Stream Key on that platform and copy it. Stream Keys are likely to sit somewhere in the stream settings.
1. Open the Settings, and then go to Stream & Record
2. Choose the Other streaming service Preset from the dropdown Menu.
3. Paste or enter the URL server and stream key you copied from your preferred Platform into the Stream Key field. Now you can close the Settings window.
4. When you’re ready to stream, just hit the Start Streaming button in the Streaming Panel.
